Who May Use Krew
Krew is a business software platform for field service, home service, and similar operating businesses. You may use Krew only if you can form a binding agreement and are authorized to act for the business or organization you represent.
If you create a workspace or subscribe on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms. References to "you" include both the individual user and the business or organization using the workspace.
The Service
Krew provides tools for CRM, leads, customers, quotes, jobs, scheduling, team management, payroll workflows, invoicing, payments, SMS and email communications, analytics, marketing, reviews, website insights, AI-assisted content, and connected third-party integrations.
We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features over time. Some features may depend on third-party providers, configuration, account eligibility, plan status, or customer-provided data.
Accounts, Workspace Ownership, and Users
- ✓You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for all activity under your account or workspace.
- ✓Workspace owners and admins are responsible for inviting users, assigning roles, setting permissions, removing former employees, and controlling access to customer and business data.
- ✓You must provide accurate account, billing, and business information and keep it updated.
- ✓You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse of your account.
Subscriptions, Trials, Billing, and Cancellation
Paid access to Krew requires an active subscription unless we separately approve trial, promotional, or internal access. Subscription billing is processed by Stripe or another payment processor we support.
- ✓Prices, plans, trial terms, promotional codes, and included features may change, but changes will not reduce paid access during a then-current billing period unless required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.
- ✓You authorize us and our payment processors to charge applicable subscription fees, taxes, and other amounts using the payment method provided.
- ✓If payment fails, is reversed, or is not completed, we may limit, suspend, or terminate access.
- ✓You may cancel through the billing portal or by contacting support where self-service cancellation is unavailable.
- ✓Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable and cancellation stops future renewal charges rather than retroactively refunding prior charges.
Customer Data and Your Responsibilities
You retain ownership of the data you and your users enter into Krew, including customer records, job data, quotes, invoices, communications, photos, notes, service information, team data, and marketing content ("Customer Data"). You grant Krew permission to host, process, transmit, display, and use Customer Data as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
You are responsible for:
- ✓Having the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to enter, upload, process, message, and share Customer Data through Krew.
- ✓The accuracy, quality, legality, and reliability of Customer Data.
- ✓Configuring roles, permissions, integrations, notifications, and communication settings appropriately.
- ✓Complying with laws that apply to your business, customers, employees, contractors, communications, payroll, taxes, invoices, marketing, and records.
Communications, SMS, and Marketing Rules
Krew may allow you to send SMS, email, team messages, customer updates, review requests, marketing posts, and other communications. You are responsible for the content, timing, recipients, and legality of communications sent from your workspace.
- ✓You must obtain all legally required consent before sending SMS, marketing, automated, or promotional communications.
- ✓You must honor opt-outs, unsubscribe requests, STOP replies, and other communication preferences.
- ✓You may not use Krew to send spam, deceptive messages, unlawful marketing, harassment, or abusive content.
- ✓Messaging deliverability depends on third-party carriers and providers, and we do not guarantee delivery, timing, or carrier approval.
Payments, Invoices, Payroll, and Business Records
Krew may help generate quotes, invoices, receipts, payment links, payroll calculations, commission estimates, reports, and financial summaries. These features are operational tools and do not replace professional accounting, tax, payroll, legal, insurance, or financial advice.
You are responsible for reviewing all invoices, payment records, taxes, wages, commissions, payroll outputs, employee classifications, approvals, and reports before relying on them or sending them to customers, employees, contractors, accountants, or regulators.
Third-Party Services and Integrations
Krew integrates with third-party services such as Stripe, Square, Twilio, Resend, Google, Meta/Facebook/ Instagram, AI providers, hosting providers, and other operational tools. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their separate terms, privacy notices, fees, permissions, review processes, rate limits, and availability.
We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their decisions to approve or reject your account or content, or actions they take under their own terms. If you disconnect or lose access to a third-party service, related Krew features may stop working.
AI-Assisted Features
Krew may provide AI-assisted tools that generate social posts, marketing copy, replies, summaries, insights, or other content. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, outdated, or unsuitable for your business. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, approving, and using AI-generated content.
- ✓Do not submit sensitive personal information, payment card data, government identifiers, health data, or confidential third-party information into AI prompts unless you have the right to do so and the feature requires it.
- ✓You are responsible for ensuring AI-generated content complies with advertising, consumer protection, intellectual property, employment, privacy, and industry rules that apply to your business.
- ✓We may use third-party AI providers to process prompts and generate outputs as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
You may not use Krew to:
- ✓Violate any law, regulation, contract, privacy right, intellectual property right, or third-party right.
- ✓Access, tamper with, or use systems, data, accounts, or workspaces without authorization.
- ✓Send spam, phishing, malware, fraudulent content, deceptive marketing, harassment, or unlawful communications.
- ✓Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or bypass security or access controls for the service.
- ✓Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or content designed to damage or monitor systems without authorization.
- ✓Misrepresent your identity, business, services, pricing, credentials, reviews, offers, or customer relationships.
- ✓Use Krew for high-risk activities where failure could cause death, personal injury, severe property damage, or other critical harm.
Krew Materials and Intellectual Property
Krew and its software, designs, workflows, interfaces, documentation, logos, trademarks, templates, and other materials are owned by Krew or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use Krew for your internal business operations.
You may not copy, resell, sublicense, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or use Krew to build a competing product except as expressly permitted by law or by written agreement with us.
Feedback
If you provide feedback, ideas, suggestions, or requests, you grant Krew a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use them without restriction or compensation. We are not obligated to use feedback or keep it confidential.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information. By using Krew, you acknowledge that we process information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Service Availability and Support
We aim to provide reliable service, but Krew is provided on an as-available basis. Planned maintenance, updates, outages, third-party provider issues, internet disruptions, security events, and force majeure events may affect availability, performance, or data sync.
Support availability, response times, onboarding assistance, and service levels may vary by plan, configuration, and our operational capacity unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Krew at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if payment is not completed, a charge is disputed, your account creates risk, you violate these Terms, your use creates security or legal exposure, or continued access could harm Krew, customers, users, third-party providers, or the public.
After termination or cancellation, access to the service may end immediately or at the end of the current billing period, depending on the circumstances. We may retain certain records as described in our Privacy Policy or as required for legal, billing, security, backup, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business purposes.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Krew is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, or error-free operation.
Krew does not warrant that the service, integrations, messages, AI outputs, analytics, payroll workflows, invoices, or reports will be uninterrupted, accurate, compliant with laws applicable to your business, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Krew and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business interruption, or replacement services, even if advised of the possibility of those damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Krew's total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the amounts you paid to Krew for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Krew and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, suppliers, and licensors from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your Customer Data, your use of Krew, your communications or marketing activity, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement or misappropriation of third-party rights.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify customers, such as by posting the updated Terms, updating the effective date, or sending an account notice. Continued use of Krew after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, both parties agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other party and allowing a reasonable opportunity to respond.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, disclaimers, or exclusions, so some provisions may not apply to you. In that case, the provisions will apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
